Dan Bernard

Dan started his walk in the carpentry field at a very young age. Following in the footsteps of his family's vocation.

Beginning his career, he started as a carpenter's assistant and worked his way towards becoming a master carpenter.

After graduating Wimington High School and Essex Agricultural Technical Institute, Dan studied Forestry Management at the University of Maine, and worked for the forestry service in Colorado for a year as part of his training. Upon returning to New England, Dan fully devoted himself to the development of Bernard Carpentry.

Bernard Carpentry

By the mid 1980s, Dan had established a quality construction business in Wilmington Massachusetts, and has since worked to build a large customer base, and a solid reputation. Bernard Carpentry is not only rooted in construction skills but is also largely built on a foundation of architectural and design understanding. Dan uses all his talent and vast knolwedge to perform anything from the simplest repair, all the way up to a complex new structure design.

The Bernard Family

Dan is a native of Wilmington, Massachusetts, and works closely with his lovely wife Claudia to diligently run their business. Dan and Claudia are also proud parents of two wonderful children, Jacob and Natalia.

Dan and his family are also deeply involved in the art of music. Both Dan and his son Jacob study banjo. Music has always been a big part of Dan's life, and has now carried on to his son and daughter.

Dan and the other members of his family have also been into the study of Kung Fu and the Martial Arts for many years.

Dan has been studying with a Master Kung Fu instructor in Beverly, MA for numerous years.

Dan's son Jacob is also highly ranked in his study of Kung Fu with Billerica's well known Master Michael Macaris.

You may recognize Bill Wallace from his famous bouts with Chuck Norris in the movie "A Force of One" (see movie trailer on left). Imagine Bill's surprise when Dan blocked his Lightning Speed Kicks! Or could it be that he was just demonstrating to the crowd... you be the judge!

Dan carries his discipline in the martial arts into his business as well. Bernard Carpentry is dedicated to serving the New England Area, and will always provide quality construction for a reasonable price.
